Building Independence Through Real-Life Experiences

At 702 Point Place, we provide therapeutic learning, community integration, day habilitation, skills training, behavioral consultation, and social and recreational supports for teens and adults ages 14 and older.

Our programs are designed for individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and related support needs throughout Las Vegas and Clark County. We combine evidence-based behavioral support with practical, hands-on learning so participants can strengthen communication, independence, confidence, emotional regulation, social connection, and daily living skills at our center and in the community.

Community Integration

Participants practice important skills in real-world settings through purposeful community outings that build communication, flexibility, problem-solving, executive functioning, and confidence.

  • Grocery shopping and budgeting
  • Ordering food independently
  • Community safety and transportation training
  • Libraries, museums, recreation, and local resources
  • Scavenger hunts, team activities, and unfamiliar settings

Day Habilitation

Our day habilitation program provides structured, engaging opportunities for personal growth, recreation, and community participation. Each schedule is individualized around the participant’s strengths, interests, preferences, and support needs.

  • Daily living and self-care skills
  • Functional communication and academics
  • Emotional regulation and decision-making
  • Self-advocacy, health, wellness, and social participation
  • Household and community readiness

Skills Training

Skills training focuses on practical abilities that support greater independence at home, in the community, and in future employment settings.

  • Time management, organization, and problem-solving
  • Money management, banking basics, and budgeting
  • Meal planning, cooking, laundry, and household routines
  • Transportation, safety awareness, and functional communication
  • Reading a lease, job readiness, and interview practice

Behavioral Consultation

Our treatment team conducts comprehensive assessments and develop individualized recommendations based on each participant’s needs. The focus is on reducing barriers to independence while protecting dignity, choice, and quality of life.

  • Comprehensive and functional behavioral assessments
  • Positive behavior support plans
  • Caregiver and staff training
  • Data-driven progress monitoring
  • Emotional regulation and functional communication support
  • Collaboration with families and other providers

Social and Recreational Supports

Social development is encouraged through enjoyable, age-appropriate activities rather than traditional classroom-style social skills groups. These experiences create natural opportunities to practice communication, teamwork, friendship, flexibility, and conflict resolution.

  • Cooperative games, trivia, and team challenges
  • Escape-room-style activities and video game tournaments
  • Creative projects, special-interest groups, and community recreation
